Porsche 991.1 GT3/ 991.2 GT3/ GT3 RS SIDE MUFFLER DELETES
The BCFabs Porsche 991 GT3 and GT3 RS Side Muffler Deletes removes the restrictive and heavy exhaust side mufflers found in the rear wheel arch. A like for like fitment, this Porsche upgrade massively improves the flat 6 sound. Tailor the sound of your car with the option of valved or non valved.
These side muffler deletes direct exhaust gasses from the manifolds straight through to the rear silencer box. Non valved means gasses pass through both top and bottom pathways of the rear silencer across the whole rpm range.
With valves installed, the PSE button in the cabin off (discreet mode-reduced volume) gasses pass through the smaller top pathway through baffles from idle – 4000 rpm. Above 4000 rpm the bottom route opens and passes through the bottom chamber of the silencer and out the tailpipes. With PSE button on, the valve opens at idle, shuts again at 2000 rpm and opens about 3800 rpm and gasses pass straight through to the tailpipes.
This Porsche exhaust upgrade significantly reduces wheel arch temperatures as gas velocity is massively improved. Also achieving a circa 18kg weight saving from behind the rear axle which improves stability.
The OEM side mufflers direct gasses through a series of baffles which heavily restrict the sound and has a negative effect on throttle response and performance from the engine. Deleting these mufflers instantly improves throttle response and mid range torque.
The exact like for like fitment joins at the OEM manifold position and entry into OEM rear muffler.
The BCFabs Porsche 991 GT3 and GT3 RS Side Muffler Deletes are available in Inconel or Stainless Steel.
Popular in aerospace and high end motorsport, Inconel is the superior material for top tier exhaust upgrades. It has a high nickel content which makes it more resistant to corrosion when compared to other metals. Its Incredible strength allows for a thinner wall thickness which results in weight savings. Inconel also reveals a higher pitched exotic tone.
In stainless steel a classic deeper tone is revealed.
Which Material is suitable for a Porsche Exhaust Upgrade?
Porsche 991.1 GT3 / 991.2 GT3 / GT3 RS Exhausts in Stainless Steel
Our Stainless Steel Porsche exhausts offer a deep and aggressive tone.
We offer our Porsche 991 GT3 and GT3 RS exhaust systems in 304 Stainless Steel which can withstand high heat cycles and long term vibrations unlike lighter materials such as which tend to crack over time.
Porsche 991.1 GT3 / 991.2 GT3 / GT3 RS Exhausts in Inconel
Inconel offers a higher pitch in the higher RPM.
Superior when it comes to exhausts! Inconel is popular in high end motorsport such as Formula 1, rallying and endurance racing, where strength, weight and heat defence is paramount. With it’s high nickel content, Inconel is stronger and is resistant to corrosion when compared to both Stainless Steel and Titanium which allows us to decrease the wall thickness of your exhaust, saving weight without compromising on strength.
Prices are plus VAT where applicable.
We try to hold stock of all Porsche systems but due to popularity it may take up to 6 weeks for shipping in some cases.
