Introducing the BCFabs X Pipe Exhaust for the Porsche 991 GT3 / GT3RS.
The BCFabs team have developed a rear X pipe which deletes the raspy Rear OEM box which sits behind the rear axle inside the bumper.
This attaches directly to the OEM Side muffler exits or our popular side muffler deletes which remove a whopping 16kg of mass.
This system has been designed to utilise the existing Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) button in the cabin.
PSE off, (valve closed) exhaust gasses leave the side mufflers/muffler deletes and into the Pipework which leads to the X Pipe. When under 4000rpm, the valves are in the closed position and all gasses pass through the smaller diameter tubing where you can opt to run a silencer. This allows more discreteness in the lower rpm. Although this silencer is in the Valves closed path it also helps reduce a few decibels in the higher rpms also. Perfect for pulling into neighbourhoods after a spirited drive. The non silenced version would be much sharper and aggressive with an intoxicating howl when you reach the almighty 8000-9000rpm .
We’ve utilised the 991 GT3 tailpipe finisher flange for this exhaust system allowing enthusiasts to spec their own choice of tailpipes. We also have silenced tips which bolt directly to this exhaust allowing for a reduction in decibels for track days.
