The BC Fabs OPF deletes remove the highly restrictive OEM OPF pipe. The OEM OPF has an internal matrix designed to reduce emissions. This Matrix drastically affects the gas flow which in turn effects the power and torque and reduces the overall volume of sound. It’s this part which causes a lot of the issues experienced with these cars not sounding as they should.

Remove the OEM OAP and replaced with our Over Axle Pipes (OAP) OPF delete reveals an instant improvement in sound and throttle response. Our OAP’s are an exact like for like replacement upgrade which can be used with a number of BCFabs exhaust solutions to further enhance the sound and power.

The non silenced and silenced OPF delete pipes can mate to the OEM manifolds and the OEM backbox or for best sound and performance pairing with one of our rear pipes reveals ‘’a clean flat 6 howl’’.

All OAP’s come supplied with a slip joint where the silencer sits so you can swap out for a non silenced version(vice versa) and truly tailor the sound, volume and tone to your requirements.

Available in materials Inconel or stainless steel. Choosing the OPF deletes in Stainless steel reveal a deeper classic tone to the car introducing more burbles and crackles. Inconel reveals a high quality exotic tone with sharper burbles and crackles. Plenty of burbles, pops and bangs these are a great upgrade for anyone looking to optimise the power and sound.

Thermal barriers

The OEM OPF causes a lot of back pressure within the exhaust therefore temperatures in this area are quite high especially as the pipe loops up into the wheel arch right next to the suspension and chassis. With this area not getting much cold air flow its imperative that a thermal barrier is used to protect surrounding areas. Removal of the OEM OPF increases the gas flow and reduces backpressure which results in considerably lower temperatures in this area.

We offer all OPF pipes with a thermal barrier as standard. Our OAP pipes come with Motorsport F1 grade Thermal Insulation lagging which is done by hand. This barrier has a ceramic cloth which is spot welded between the outer walls of the exhaust and a piece of thin dimpled foil. Our Insulation lagging has performed in the most demanding areas of motorsport where quality and longevity is paramount.  This is the best solution to reducing surface temperatures and helping protect surrounding areas from heat soak.

Note – EU/Asia spec cars  will trigger a CEL when the OEM OPF is removed. To remove the CEL and allow the ecu to run efficiently as intended, mapping is required. Contact us today for more information.
