THE BC FABS PORSCHE 992.2 GT3 SILENCED VALVED X-PIPE EXHAUST
Introducing the BCFabs signature X Pipe Exhaust for the Porsche Porsche 992.2 GT3
This rear pipe is a direct replacement for the heavy and restrictive OEM rear muffler which is situated at the back of the car inside the rear bumper. This BCFabs Porsche exhaust system is expertly designed, fabricated and welded in house in the UK. Constructed using the super alloy Inconel 625, this Porsche exhaust system is corrosion resistant and specifically designed for high temperature applications. Inconel is the ideal material for top end exhaust systems thanks to its superior strength and light weight properties. Inconel has been the choice of material in Formula 1 exhaust systems for over 25 years and common in other high performance motorsports such as Le mans and WRC.
The BCFabs signature X pipe mounts up to the existing OEM OPF rings ensuring a like for like fitment.
To optimise gas flow from the large OPF filters, we invested heavily in our own tooling to create a shaped cone which steps down into the optimised pipe diameters. Gasses flow through this shaped cone and are directed through the BCFabs signature x piece. This x piece helps optimise gas scavenging from the 4.0l flat 6 engine by directing the pulse waves across each other, resulting in improved performance and sound.
This system was designed to utilise the existing Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) button in the cabin. The latest OPF cars use electronic motors to control when the valves open and close. Working with carefully selected partners, we use high quality Porsche specific valves which accept the OEM Porsche motors to ensure perfect working and fitment.
PSE off, (valves closed) exhaust gasses leave the OPF, through our shaped cone and are directed through a small silencer to reduce overall volume under 4000rpm. Perfect for pulling into neighbourhoods after a spirited drive. Gasses then merge back into the pipework just before the tailpipes. This helps keep volume down to a minimum whilst maintaining performance.
PSE on, (valves open), exhaust gasses leave the OPF through our shaped cone and are directed though our X piece and out through the tailpipes. Roll on through 9000rpm and let that flat 6 sing! An incredible sound is revealed with instant improvement in throttle response, torque and power, this upgrade is one to be experienced!
We chose to utilise the 991 GT3 tailpipe finisher flange for this exhaust system. We are aware that a lot of owners will be upgrading from older generations of Porsches, and clients who have purchased our silenced tips which fit the older cars will be able to use 991 track tips with this exhaust system.
We only want the best for these cars therefore this exhaust is only available in Inconel 625, the superior material for exhaust systems.

With it’s high nickel content, Inconel is stronger and is resistant to corrosion when compared to both Stainless Steel and Titanium which allows us to decrease the wall thickness of your exhaust, saving weight without compromising on strength.
